Bexley Dental has been serving the Bexley community since 1991, when Dr Theo Spyrakis™ first opened its doors. In that time, we’ve watched a lot of patients grow up, and bring their own children to Bexley Dental as well.

Dr. Theo is Bexley Dental's resident All-on-4® and Implant Expert. In his pursuit of implant excellence, Dr. Theo has travelled all over the world, from the U.S. to Portugal to train with the very best…Including Dr Paolo Malo, the founder of the All-on-4® technique. Such is Dr. Theo's mastery of the All-on-4® protocol, he has gone on to share that expertise by training fellow dentists in the technique, helping to raise the standard of implant care across the profession.

A proud Bexley native, Dr. Theo serves as Bexley Dental’s resident expert in All-on-4 and implant dentistry. As a distinguished Bexley dentist, he has pursued clinical excellence by undertaking advanced training across the globe, from the United States to Portugal, where he had the privilege of learning under world-renowned specialists, including Dr. Paulo Malo, the pioneer of the All-on-4 technique.
Outside his professional commitments and ongoing international education, Dr. Theo is a passionate supporter of the St. George Dragons and Liverpool F.C. In his leisure time, he enjoys scuba diving, traveling with his wife and children, and curating his growing collection of fine wine.

Dr. Wong is one of Bexley’s wonderful Family Dentists, where he’s seen many of our patients from primary school on to starting their own families!In his spare time Dr. Wong enjoys bushwalking and exploring the Blue Mountains with his wife, Joanne, and their two boys, Alex and Declan.
Dr. Wong often jokes that he likes to pretend he knows a bit about fine wine and Australian art.
When not exploring the great outdoors, you’ll often find the family our poking around galleries and antique stores for the fun of it.
Dr. Mark Psillakis

Family Dentistry
Dr. Psillakis came to Bexley following a career heading up R & D for an Australian based dental supply company, and serving the Department of Juvenile Justice by caring for the oral health of incarcerated youth.
His compassion makes him a favourite with patients, and his background in R&D makes him an indispensable member of the Bexley team.
In his spare time, you’ll find Dr Psillakis travelling with his wife, Koula, and their two beautiful and active children, George and Khrysa.

Throughout his time, Dr Tambassis has rapidly built experience by working in both public and private sectors within dentistry. This paired with his innate passion for self-improvement and ongoing education Dr Tambassis stays up to date with current technology and techniques to provide the optimal care, comfort, and improved quality of life for his patients.

Laura Righetto
Oral Health Therapist
Laura graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014, where she excelled academically and clinically. In recognition of her outstanding performance, she was awarded the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia Prize for the highest achievement in both clinical and academic disciplines.
Laura is particularly passionate about preventative dentistry and helping patients manage and recover from advanced gum disease. She believes that prevention is key to long-term oral health and works closely with her patients to develop personalised care plans. Additionally, her deep interest in airways and their connection to oral health enables her to offer a holistic approach to patient care. Above all, Laura strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment where every patient feels heard and at ease throughout their treatment. She is dedicated to making dental visits as stress-free as possible and ensuring that her patients feel supported every step of the way.
Outside of her professional life, Laura loves to travel and spend quality time with her family and friends. She believes in the importance of balance and enjoys exploring new places, cultures, and experiences.

Yvonne is a dedicated and passionate Oral Health Therapist with dual qualifications in dental hygiene and dental therapy. She has a strong background in preventative dentistry and patient education. Yvonne graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from The University of Sydney and has gained experience in various dental clinics across Sydney, helping to improve oral health outcomes for patients of all ages and demographics. Yvonne strongly believes in teamwork, good communication and a warm and friendly approach to patient care. She is committed to promoting optimal oral health and continuously enhancing her skills through actively partaking in professional development courses. Yvonne believes in making dental care accessible and comfortable for all patients. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her two cats, Pumpkin and Poppy.
Jorge
Oral Health Therapist (Adult Scope)
Jorge graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2016 and brings extensive knowledge and experience in preventive and restorative oral health care. His commitment to patient education and long-term oral wellness aligns closely with our practice values, and he is dedicated to helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their dental care.
Outside of practice, Jorge leads an active lifestyle and enjoys hiking, swimming, working out, and running. He also has a passion for travel and exploring new cuisines.
We are delighted to have Jorge as part of our professional team and look forward to the exceptional care he will provide to our patients.

After working for Dr Spyrakis for over 20 years as a Receptionist and then Practice Manager, Kris took a break from Bexley Dental to go and work in her family business. Kris has now come back to the Bexley Dental family as part of the reception team and we couldn’t be happier that she is back as part of the Bexley Dental team!
Kris has a special history with the practice and all of our patients so it has been wonderful to see their faces light up when they see her back at Bexley Dental for the first time. Make sure you say hello and catch up with her next time you come in.
When she isn’t providing amazing customer service, Kris enjoys spending time with her family and going for lunch time walks and has also been known to love a bit of Greek dancing!

Stacey has been our amazing practice manager for the past 7 years. Stacey started her journey working in dental back in 2005 as a Dental Nurse and has gained so much experience and knowledge along the way. Over the years Stacey has been a Dental Nurse, Receptionist, and is now our Practice Manager.
Even though she in now our PM, she still loves to assist when needed and usually jumps in with our principal dentist Dr Theo Spyrakis to help him with his AO4 surgeries.
